1. Who is responsible

Aurora AI Ventures LLC, Jersey City, New Jersey, United States is the data controller for fateatlas.xyz. Contact: contact@fateatlas.xyz.

2. What we collect

• Account data — name, email and profile image from your Google sign-in, handled by our auth provider Clerk.
• Birth details — date, time, place and gender you choose to provide so we can compute your charts. This is the core personal data of the Service; we treat it as sensitive and never sell it.
• Payment data — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we store only your Stripe customer reference, plan and billing status.
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, device and browser information, collected via cookies and similar technologies for analytics and, where enabled, advertising measurement.
• Questions and feedback — questions you ask the decision and oracle features, and accuracy ratings you submit.

3. How we use it

• To compute charts and generate readings (including sending structured chart data to AI providers to produce interpretations).
• To manage your account, subscription and billing.
• To improve the Service, including calibrating reading quality from your feedback.
• To measure and improve marketing, including Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing where you have consented.
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. Cookies and advertising

We use necessary cookies for sign-in and session management, and — with your consent where required — analytics and advertising cookies (including Google tags for conversion measurement and remarketing). You can withdraw consent at any time via your browser settings or our cookie controls. Google's use of advertising data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/ads, and you can opt out of personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com.

5. Who we share data with

Service providers acting on our behalf: Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Neon (database hosting), Vercel (web hosting), AI model providers (reading generation — they receive chart features and your questions, not your payment details), and Google (analytics / ads measurement where enabled). We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose data if required by law.

6. Retention and security

We keep your data while your account is active and delete or anonymize it after account deletion, except where retention is legally required (e.g. billing records). Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our hosting providers.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. California residents: we do not "sell" or "share" personal information as defined by the CCPA. To exercise any right, email contact@fateatlas.xyz — we respond within 30 days.

8. Children

The Service is for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes

We will post any changes here with a new "last updated" date, and notify you of material changes.
